Giving back on #GivingTuesday
To encourage donations to the U.S. Dream Academy and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington DC. Giant Foods graciously agreed to match donations up to $5,000 per organization. Ad creative had to accurately represent each organization, as well as Giant Food.
In order to expand both the reach and audience, we utilized the Giant BBQ Battle’s social media channels to run these social ad campaigns. Using multiple versions of creative and ad copy for each organization, we launched the campaign prior to #GivingTUesday to begin raising awareness and managed the campaign over a five-day period to maximize engagement and conversions. As a result, Giant Foods exceeded the goal of raising $5,000 per organization.
